Amamori (
Etymology[]
- Amamori is derived from the kanji for Heaven (天) and to protect (守). Ironically, the name is a homophone for leakage (雨漏り).
Information[]
Amamori is a protective facility that hosts many VIPs and guests with special circumstances. 20% of the residents are people under protection and the rest are employees of Public Safety or ninjas. The entrance of the building is usually occupied by ninjas on missions.
All combat is strictly forbidden within the facility, as well as interacting with residents under protection without permission. Breaking either of these rules will result in being regarded as an enemy and the faculty will seek to eliminate the rule breaker. As a vow to follow the rules, guests must sign their codename in blood as they enter.
Plot[]
Yodaka visits Amamori after being invited by Mimizuku to join Aoi in celebrating her birthday. As he enters, Number Nine explains the rules of the facility to him. Yodaka goes into Aoi's home and spends his time cooking and eating dinner with her. Mimizuku invited Yodaka here so he could tell him not to feel bad about the results of his last mission. He also informs him that the higher ups want to replace Squad no. 9, though he doesn't want that, instead wanting to train Yodaka. The facility then invaded by an intruder.[1]
